For Vietnamese, Lunar New Year which is usually called Tet is as important as Christmas is to Westerners. Because of being calculated by the lunar calendar, Tet often occurs at the beginning of February. One of the traditional activities during Tet is “Du Xuân” which literally translates as “Go out to enjoy the spirit of the new spring”. In this activity, we usually take a trip with the purpose of taking pleasure in the spring atmosphere and wishing for a lucky and successful new year.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2020, EITS had a trip to the summit of Ba Vi mountain, whose height is over 1200 metres above sea level. In Vietnamese mythology, this mountain is the home of Sơn Tinh, the mountain god. The trip gave us a very happy time and hope for us and our customers a year of health, luck, and success.
