Currently, most SCADA systems in the transmission grid in Vietnam use IEC60870-5-101 communication protocol. However, this protocol has many limitations in establishing physical communication channels. IEC60870-5-104 protocol is being used instead of IEC 60870-5-101 protocol, which brings many advantages in deployment as well as high stability in transmission modes.
List of works:
– Config IED/BCUs for bay control, collect and handle the signals, applying the IEC61850 protocol.
– Collect relay protection signals following the IEC61850 protocol.
– Collect measurement signal from meters which used Modbus RTU protocol.
– Connect all informations, signals to the operation control center (OCC) in 3 province: Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh, Son La according to IEC60870-5-104 protocol.

– 5 substations in Vinh Phuc province: 110kV Vinh Yen, 110kV Phuc Yen, 110kV Thien ke, 110kV Vinh Tuong, 110kV Lap Thach.
– 6 substations in Son La province: 110kV Moc Chau, 110kV Son La, 110kV Muong La, 110kV Thuan Chau, 110kV Phu Yen, 110kV Song Ma.
– 6 substations in Hoa Binh province: 110kV Luong Son, 110kV Trung Son, 110kV Thanh Nong, 110kV Lac son, 110kV Mai Chau, 110kV Hoa Binh.
