Phu My solar power plant was successfully energized and was connected to the national grid on December 31st after seven months of construction.
Phu My solar power plant started construction in My An and My Thang communes, Phu My district, Binh Dinh province. This is a large-scale solar power plant in Binh Dinh, built on an area of 380 hectares and has a total design capacity of 330 MW.
When fully put into operation, the plant is estimated to achieve an electricity output of about 520 million kWh per year, equivalent to the use of 200,000 households, and helps reduce emissions by about 146,000 tons of CO2.
In this project, ITS., JSC provided protection control cabinets, software and configuration services CSCS / SCADA, FR / PQ / PMU configuration for the power plant.
With a large capacity, Phu My solar power plant is expected to create a stable source of electricity for production and business activities, and economic development of the country when it is put into operation. Besides, the project also contributes to the budget, creates jobs for people in Binh Dinh province, contributes to improving and improving people’s lives, stabilizing social security, and protecting the biological environment.
